A dense mix of CBSE and ICSE schools
Delhi Public School Pune is in Nyati County on the Mohammadwadi side and is CBSE-affiliated up to Class 12. Nearby, VIBGYOR High's NIBM campus off Corinthian Club Road and Hillgreen High School on the NIBM-Undri link road at Pisoli are CBSE too, as are The Vatsalya School in Undri and Vidyashilp Public School at Yewalewadi in Kondhwa Budruk.
ICSE has a strong presence too. The Bishop's Co-Ed School on Undri-Mohammadwadi Road and EuroSchool Undri both follow ICSE, and Pearl Drop School off NIBM junction is an ICSE school as well. With DPS, the VIBGYOR campus and the Undri ICSE schools all within a few kilometres, a tutor who did well for the family next door may not suit your child if the boards differ. Look for CBSE tutors or ICSE tutors who have taught your board recently.

Hill roads, junctions and timing home tuition in Kondhwa
Kondhwa and NIBM sit on rising ground, and the roads show it. An April 2025 local news report named Jyoti Chowk, Sarvodaya Chowk and Bakers Point as the main pinch points on NIBM Road, with unfinished civic works narrowing the road in places. The same report noted that the locality has no reliable public transport of its own, so for Undri, Pisoli and the inner societies, ask whether a tutor has their own two-wheeler.
- Undri and Pisoli: a tutor living on the same side of the slope avoids climbing through NIBM at peak hour.
- NIBM Road and Mohammadwadi: a tutor from NIBM, Mohammadwadi or the Hadapsar side has the shortest ride.
- Kondhwa Khurd: tutors from Kondhwa itself, Salunke Vihar or Wanowrie are closest.
- Kondhwa Budruk and Yewalewadi: look at tutors from Kondhwa Budruk or the Katraj side, linked by Katraj-Kondhwa Road.
- Kondhwa Annexe, towards Bopdev Ghat: this is the edge of the city on the ghat road, so check a tutor is comfortable riding to you after dark in winter.
Whatever the stretch, ask the tutor how long the ride to you takes at 6 pm, not at noon.

Choosing a home tutor near NIBM Road
- Name your exact school and board in the requirement - DPS, a VIBGYOR campus and an ICSE school in Undri each move at a different pace.
- For Class 11 and 12, choose subject depth over one tutor for everything.
- Ask which route the tutor takes and whether it crosses Jyoti Chowk or the NIBM-Undri slope at peak hour.
- Agree a monsoon plan, such as a weekend make-up class, for days when the hill roads are bad.
- In Undri, Pisoli or Kondhwa Annexe, check the tutor has their own transport before you fix a weekday slot.
