Which boards Hadapsar and Magarpatta schools follow
Hadapsar has a wide spread of boards, partly because its two big townships brought their own schools. Inside Magarpatta City, VIBGYOR High near the West Gate is CBSE, while Vidya Pratishthan's Magarpatta City Public School follows ICSE. In Amanora Park Town, Amanora School is CBSE-affiliated up to Class 12, and Global Indian International School and Billabong High International School on the Malwadi and Sade Satara Nali side are CBSE too. Towards Mundhwa, The Orbis School at Keshav Nagar is also CBSE.
Outside the townships, CBSE's register also lists The Lexicon School on Pune-Saswad Road and The Kalyani School at Manjari Budruk, and, as across Maharashtra, plenty of children in older Hadapsar, Manjari and Fursungi study in Maharashtra State Board schools. So two children in the same building can be on three different syllabuses. A tutor who has taught ICSE English for years may still need a week to settle into a child's NCERT books, and the reverse is true for a CBSE specialist. When you post a requirement, name the board and the school, not just the class, and look for CBSE tutors or ICSE tutors who have taught that board recently.
Solapur Road, the flyover and realistic class timings
Many families want tuition between 5 pm and 8 pm. On 3 July 2026, with heavy rain slowing the city, Pune Traffic Police asked people to avoid non-essential travel in exactly that window and named Solapur Road among the roads expected to be badly congested. Add the office traffic around Magarpatta and along the Hadapsar-Kharadi bypass, and a tutor crossing the area at 6 pm can spend more time on the road than in your home.
There is more disruption ahead. A July 2026 news report said the Magarpatta flyover is to be demolished to make way for the Swargate-Hadapsar Metro and rebuilt as a double-decker, with work expected to begin around January 2027, in the run-up to board exams. If that goes ahead, a tutor who lives on your side of the junction will be far less affected. Check the latest traffic advisories before you lock in a Class 10 or Class 12 timetable.

Township gates and where to hold sessions
Magarpatta City is a gated township and Amanora Park Town is a large planned one, so a tutor may have to pass a township gate as well as your society's security before reaching your door. Tell the tutor which township gate is nearest your building, and if your society uses MyGate or NoBrokerHood, add them once as a frequent visitor with fixed days so the guard is not calling you mid-class.
Some township societies have study rooms or clubhouse spaces, but check your society's rules before booking one for regular tuition; for a younger child, your own living room with an adult at home is simpler.
