Questions about pricing
Do I pay the tutor through TutorUp?
No. Tuition fees are agreed and paid directly between you and the tutor. TutorUp Pro is a subscription to the app itself, not a payment for classes, and TutorUp takes no commission on what a tutor earns.
How do I pay for TutorUp Pro?
In the app, through Razorpay's secure checkout - UPI AutoPay, a card, or a bank mandate. TutorUp never sees your card number.
Does Pro renew automatically?
Yes, at the end of each 3- or 12-month period, until you cancel. You can cancel any time from Profile, then Plan, and you keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for.
What is founding-parent pricing?
The first 50 parents to subscribe pay ₹599 for 3 months or ₹1,999 a year instead of the regular price, and keep that price on renewal. The app shows how many founding places are left when you upgrade.
Is TutorUp free for tutors?
Yes. Creating a profile, getting verified, seeing requirements near you and applying are all free. There are no lead fees and no commission.
